How to spot fake game-room agents before you pay
Scammers pretend to be agents and support staff. These warning signs will help you keep your money safe.
Wherever people play online game rooms, someone is pretending to be an agent. Here's how to spot them.
Warning signs
- They ask you to pay a personal $Cashtag or send a direct transfer.
- They say you must pay a fee to release your winnings.
- They message you first and offer a bonus that sounds too good.
- They ask for your password or a code from your email.
- They rush you, saying the offer ends in minutes.
How KingTide really works
All money goes through the checkout on our site. You create your game accounts from your own dashboard, so you never need an agent. We'll never ask you to pay to release a cash-out, and we'll never ask for your password.
If someone contacts you
Don't pay and don't share anything. Open Support from your dashboard and tell us what happened. Screenshots help us warn other players.
If you've already paid
Contact your payment app or bank right away and tell them it may be a scam. Keep the messages as proof, and let our support team know too.
